Decoding and rewiring cell-surface interactomes for cell-cell fusion and signaling

We are interested in how cell-surface proteomes reshape cellular membranes in human development and infectious disease.

We use structural biology, cell biology, and protein engineering to investigate receptor-mediated cell-surface recognition and cell–cell membrane fusion.

We exploit mechanistic and structural knowledge on these molecular interactions to interrogate physiology and therapeutically impact human disease.
